Simple Saying Poem by Marilyn White

Simple Saying

I didn’t know that
A couple of sentences
And twelve little words
Could means so much
I was down on my knees
Crying because I was so happy
I never that I could be in this
State of shock like the kind
That I am in now
Slowly all that seemed to drift
I didn’t know that
A couple of sentences
And twelve little words
Could means so much
I was down on my knees
The words you once said now
You took them back and here
I am in the same spot
As the one where I once was
But this time it’s all faded
