Simplicity Of Life
Simplicity of life under the sun
No cravings or yearnings or errands to run,
Comfortably attired, no problem to air,
Just conversation I need to share.
No noise of engines anywhere near
One stray wasp seems all I need fear,
So peaceful the flutter of many soft wings
Birds intent on their lives, not even one sings.
Fluffy clouds above, are they there by perchance
Or did nature design them, our love to enhance? ,
The hush of the world, just the sound of your voice
Will always and ever be my number one choice,
Five minutes with you brings far more pleasure
Than an hour alone in the name of leisure.
