Though you feel a bit sad and things are not going your way
You ought to feel lucky for to wake to see every day
For life is the greatest gift you does possess
And the future may bring to you some happiness

You feel no hope of success and happiness in the days ahead
And there are times when you feel you would be better off dead
But where there is life there is always hope
That good times will come to you if with the bad you can cope

You are not the only person living in this town
Who feels hard done by life and often feel down
Like you hope of success from them has gone
But with their personal struggles every day they live on

Our human moods come to us and from us does go
And in your thoughts you can become your own greatest foe
But those who feel they would be better off dead to themselves only lie
As in most people the will to live transcends the wish to die

You are in the dark moods that leads to despair
And you feel that life to you is not in any way fair
But you are not alone on feeling this way
Since life is a struggle for some every day.
