Since You'Ve Left Poem by Neha Kaushik

Since You'Ve Left

You swore to walk along,
through my highs & lows.
Still you’ve left me alone,
In this race of life.

I’m moving though,
But without any goal.
Every road seems to be endless.
I’ve lost the direction of my life.

At times, in my own madness,
I fight with the walls.
I argue with the blowing winds.
I question the sky.

But they all remain silent,
As silent as you’ve become.
And that silence makes me realize,
That you’re not there with me any more.

I try to move on,
I try to forget you,
But your memories come,
And haunts me.

I battle against you,
I fight against myself,
I’m into a war with your thoughts
It’s going inside me every time.

Your memories deeply etched in my soul,
makes me weak.
A hollowness I can feel within,
Growing very deep.

I crave for you,
I starve for your love.
I know you won’t come,
Still I’m keeping hope.
Or
I’m just hoping against hopes.

I know you won’t come, Still I’m keeping hope. Or I’m just hoping against hopes. sometimes we just don't want to move on without that one person. you've captured those emotions in a beautiful manner. :)

It's difficult to move on without the one you love. But maybe there is someone better out there for you. So keep up the hopes. Loved the sentiment in this poem! Preets
