Skin Poem by Maggie Wolf

Skin

Rating: 5.0

I have shed the skin
You helped me create.
Washed off the stains
And rinsed out the dirt.
But sometimes
In the quiet hours of the night,
Sometimes
I long to revel
In the darkness we created.

Thank you for your lovely comments. I'm still very new to poetry writing and my style is still developing. It's nice to hear that someone is enjoying them and experiencing the emotions I tried to create.
