Slay Me Poem by Lisa Wilson

Slay Me

You repulse me
Your soft skin, your warm eyes,
the fluttering of your black-rimmed eyelids
You are an anathema
to everything I want

Curse the wind
that brought you to me
For I shall never be whole as long
you remain within my cherry cheeks.
