Sleeping With My Father Poem by DOMINIC PREMPEH

Sleeping With My Father

Wake, wash your face and clean your teeth, bath;
Plenty instructions without sieve
Came from papa every morn
Eat, learn, shower and sleep:
Many more rules
I needed to follow every night.

I, very young, under command
I needed not talk

At eight
Let me see your skin
Shower you; brush you, all from papa.

Felt uneasy, it continued even at eleven
Addicted now to his baths, kisses, fondles and sex.

I know no man; talk to no female
I befriend no woman; play with no male
Daddy is my play mate, talk mate, bed mate and sex mate
