We lambast the rapist but sex young girls in secrecy
We insult the thief but take bribes
We scorn the prostitute but date more than one person
Pretenders that persecute the accused of our similar sins
Ready to stone them to death despite our doing that last era
And continually commit similar crimes consciously
We worship as if Jesus comes today
But live like he is never coming back
We live double lives; criss-crossing rights and sin
Holy sycophants living the changing lives of a chameleon
And behaving the amphibian way; water or land goes
But we stand, stare and talk about someone; as the worst

The pathetic life of hypocrites - individuals of crafty pretense, is aptly captured in the piece. Beautiful poem well articulated and nicely penned with insight. Thanks for sharing Dominic and do remain blessed.
