Slumber Poem by The Silence Heard

Slumber

The darkness enfolds me as I close my eyes.
Loneliness sinks in.
Dreams of a lovers soft touch, and being held in their safe grasp float out into the open in a cloud above my head.
I smile out of pure enjoyment of the unrealities as I drift deeper into my slumber.
