Sly Spirits Poem by Joseph Narusiewicz

Sly Spirits

The new has come like a starship
like 666
like the wrath of karma

Delicious concubine spreads her doubt
the dead flies quiver in the breeze
another ravishing day ends

Ghosts in the library
Books open like hungry pigeons
Sly spirits that know weakness
