'Smile' Poem by Somniator Moon

'Smile'

When the world is getting you down
There's really no need to wear a frown
For out in every public place
There's bound to be someone with a smiling face

Learn to lower your guard
Then you won't need to look so hard
They're out there changing people's days
Sometimes in the most unbelievable ways

Someone may be in quite a bit of strife
Or considering ending their life
You just don't know
Because only their frown they show

If you take a chance and also start
You just may lighten someone's heavy heart
A smile is like a golden ray
That just may keep someone alive for another day....
