Smiles Poem by Eleanya Ogba

Smiles

Like the sparkles of spring waters
Lies with it, Alluring beauty
And at the waves
Of the orchestrated sounds of music
The heart mumbles in silence
With the beauty of midnight moon
And the awesome words of tree
branches
As heard in its every direction
Flowing through its paths
Like the beautiful winter snow
Capturing every heart
And piercing through each;
Like the golden colours of sunshine
And with a sense of total purity
Hope prevails
And beneath the snow blanket;
The darkest thoughts of broken
promises
The shattered pieces from days of
pain
Hidden but still, painful
Beauty is just in itself
And what lies beneath; also in itself.
