Smiling Death Poem by Abha Niraula

Smiling Death

She looks around,
vast emptiness.
she tastes the air,
bitter sweetness.

she laughs aloud,
dying laughter.
She screams out,
Loud Silence.

She prays to god,
foul cursing.
she weeps slowly,
bloody tears.

she calls out,
dead mother.
she sends love,
friends, Enemies

she cuts her wrists,
smiling death.
