Smog Poem by Dr John Celes

Smog

The power-plants with chimneys huge,
Billowing smoke in gallons fast
Makes back-drop landscape for the kid,
Who plays alone with sand, buckets!

The smog is dangerous and thick;
And children's health is put at risk;
Their little brains can make scientists;
But cancer lurks within their frames.

The plight of children is so sad;
They play with sands of time unsafe;
The modern science is great but bad;
Pollution kills and maims surely!

Pollution kills while children play!
Who cares for children's future, health?
