Smoking Gun Poem by charlotte marie peachey

Smoking Gun

Rating: 5.0

i walked in on you
as you stood there
staring at a body on the floor
i shouted what did you do

but you didnt hear me
you just stood there
staring at the body on the floor
the body was a woman laying naked

the body was covered in a pool of blood
i walked up to you and tapped you on the shoulder
but you didnt fell my touch
you just stood there staring at the body lying
bleeding and naked on the floor

the womans long blonde hair had been stained
red by the blood that seeped from her head
i couldnt bevieve it did you really kill her and is she really dead
i walked round in front of you and looked you in the eyes

i said to you what did you do
and who is this woman
but you didnt see me you just stood there
and stared at the naked, dead woman on the floor

i bent down and turned over the dead body
and was shocked with what i saw i jumped back
and screamed 'no way this isnt real'
i shouted at you standing just staring
'what did you do, whats going on'

but you didnt answer me
you didnt move you just stood there with the
smoking gun in your hand
i reached to the back of my head

and felt a gash
the person on the floor is really me
im dead and you cant see me coz you
killed me what did i do i sat there for a while
thinking of what i did you killed me and i dont know
why then you moved you scared me but you didnt see me jump
because i was a spirit you picked up the phone
and dialed 999 and told the police officer on the phone
that you killed your girlfriend and that you were going to kill your self
the officer on the phone said to calm down but you
dropped the phone and lifted the gun to your head

BANG and you were dead
then you could see me......
