Snakes. Poem by Carl Roussell

Snakes.

Rating: 5.0

I have lost my way.
They took it and they shook it;
my destination.
So though I am still searching,
I am scared, so very scared.

Which way do I take
when there's a fork in the road?
Wait! There's movement; snakes!
Slithering, they come for me.
The hissing surrounding me.

And this is their way;
to shake life and reshape life.
I am scared, so scared.
They've got what they need.You should
turn away, I wish I could.

A haunting expression on life. Paths disturbed by hissing! I could feel the emotion throughout! 10

Hi Aqua and thanks for the comment. People messing with your life can be the most dangerous fork in the road!
