Snow Poem by Rokket Grrl

Snow

Snowflakes fall lightly to the snow covered ground
Falling, falling, falling. Falling all around
Frostbite nips at my face, but I don't care
the silver frost sticks to my eyelashes and hair
Standing in this meadow, once so very green
But now just snow infested, as white as you've ever seen
The snow is flowing, with cold, strong energy
And the wind howls, and sends a chill through me
But spring will still come, and bring all it's joyful colours
And then the season will change, followed by many others
Life will go on, as we let winter's cold hand go
But I hope you think of me and that meadow, whenever you see snow
