Snow Poem by Barry Pook

Snow

I was walking down the street,
It began to sleet,
The wind did blow,
It started to snow.

Jack frost waved his wand,
Everything was white from beyond,
The icicles hung like stalegtites,
Suddenly out went the lights!

At last I reached my home,
A cat went out to roam,
The snow lasted for an hour and a quarter,
A week later it turned to water.
