Snow Hunters Poem by Asma Khan

Snow Hunters

A vast blind blue sky
stares upon the roaring ocean
ready to surge on the emptiness of time

The untouchable moments stand
awaiting a spark between the
thunders of thoughts to collide with time

The sacred soul of dreams flutter
searching for the life it surely
would never end in the hands of time

I have woven the wings of the past
with memories of rains and ruins
counting all arrows cracked by time

His grey eyes slowly exhaust in fumes
smoking reflections of burnt dreams
laid on the table of lost time

The signature of autumn breeze hits
hovering over the wretched destiny
marveled with your presence at the gone time

Where the dusky shadows grow darker
dipped in the musky fragrance announcing
the arrival of the most awaited charm of time

I stand in wait to embrace the dawn
rising from the land of lost souls
the ever lived legends of love in time

Seeking the very own existence given
hearts tend to limit the desires
amidst a living being and a showpiece of time

How rude this climax may be since then
no soul shall ask, nor behold
never to be touched past the silver shades of time
