Snow In Austin Poem by Bree Z Love

Snow In Austin

On a winter wonder.
I gazed with each breath and step, into the air.
An awe filled mystery.
I questioned, "Snow in Austin? ", my inquiry;
knowing I should never underestimate the power of nature.
But feeling so out of place, I called her.
To make it real, she is still there.
And I am still here.
Miles and Miles away.
The snowflake's beauty evaporated taking with it my awe;
I wished it to stay, forever.
I wanted it to stay forever.
Hold it near; to be a permanent fixture.
My feelings all over the place; emotions in a mixture.
Though this reality gives me a chill;
yet, excites and thrills.
Sending sensations over me.
Hard to explain, but you feel me.
For it's softness melts;
as I tried to grasps my heartfelt
voice, lost in hearing your voice through the weak signal.
Quickly, on my lips
through my fingertips.
I got lost in the pillar of snowflakes dance
past the light post,
The gentle host.
Gracing,
my Wishing;
we were all
captured in the glass crystal,
Winter wonderland ball.
