Snow White Poem by Lexie Night

Snow White

SNOW WHITE
White is her skin; not hint of sun
Black is her hair; that's coming undone
Green is her eyes; brighter then safaris
Red as a rose is her lips. Sweet as nectar
Shy and Sweet, Innocent to the core,
She will mark you for shore.
The queen of the realm.

ROSE RED
Blond hair, the color of wheat
Skin golden from the sun
Lips as pink as a new bud
Eyes blue as the clearest sky.
Not one to shy, open and enticing.
Envied by all women and wanted by all men.
Snow white's dear little sister, might be her last apple.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
I read the fairy tale of snow white and rose red but round it rather dull and innocent so i wrote this poem one night thinking of Snow and the fair queen and Rose as an adulteress.

Good poem. I thought maybe this was a comparison poem to something personal. Good write.
