Snowballs Poem by Vera Sidhwa

Snowballs

Snowballs

My dream was to throw snowballs around,
And so many abound.
They were shaped round,
And I threw them fast,

These white round things,
Flew around as if they had wings.
I made some more,
And then some more.

Soon the other kids joined me,
And started pelting the trunk of a tree,
As I watched in glee.
I watched snowballs thrown everywhere.

I threw ten snowballs,
Then I threw twenty.
I threw them and threw them,
A plenty.
