With my head in my hands,
From the corner of my eye I see,
My heartbeat in my wrist.
So easy to open up,
And bleed out.
So easy to forget,
And be deceived.
With a shallow breath,
So easy.
To love and get loved,
So easy, to ignore.
Only once,
It’s so easy.
From there,
It takes time.
Time I don’t have,
So easy to play along.
My eye looks away,
So easy being me.
