So Far Far Away Poem by john mcleish

So Far Far Away

i'm in the jungle noo
amongst the palm groves
the fan whirrs aboot
but enly hot air blows

ambiance electric
humidity grows
thunder storm static
lightening show

darkness settles in
fire flies glow
lying in my hammock
rocking to and fro

voices in the distance
but I don't care what they say
fur i'm in the jungle noo
so far far away
