So Good To Be Poem by Francis Duggan

So Good To Be

In the sunny blue sky just a few clouds of gray
So good to be living on a day like today
In the town's parks and gardens countless white butterflies
Such natural beauty in the watchers eyes
Seeminly dancing and playing in the evening breeze
Above the flower beds and around the sunlit trees
In Nature there is so much beauty to see
That to the watcher is completely free
Such beauty to live on in the memory
In the prime of the Summer in mid January
In the park playground children laugh at their play
Such a beautiful sound on a beautiful day
A scene in the memory that is destined to stay
To watch the beauty in Nature one does not have to pay.
