So Long Poem by Sean Joyce

So Long

so long in the dark I prefer it
confess for so long I believe it
not guilty so long I regret it

your prison makes me turn evil

in sleep now I kiss both my parents
‘long for the touch of their hands
'cry for my smallest small sister

'miss the fun flick of her hand

Punish me now for the future
guilty from now on I'll be
everytime now that you hit me

one of you die, ‘cos of me
