Oh distant walls,
How i wished you weren't there.
Like a high-raised tower,
I'm bared from you.
And seasons after seasons,
Your comely face,
Decored in the frames of my mind
Ever charming,
A relishing beauty!
Break through,
And break the walls of distance-
For my nerves' numb
And my arms dreary-
In my bosom lay lonely!
Your euphonous voice greets me at dusk
when the evening breeze come
And a sensory of you appear
But its shadows i grasp
so lonely!
Break the mountains of distance
How deeply i'm lost in thought:
When you came into my hollowness
And filled me with manliness
Hark oh world of my bride i speak of:
So precious as pebbles upon the walls of a castle
Comely like the cherub!
Fairy as diamond
To compass our way to our eldorado.
Like the rays of the tropical sun through the chimney,
Illuminating my gloomliness with smiles,
So comely like the daffodils!
I adore as the saphire upon the king's crown.
But where't my comely beloved
for the stage is set
And my robe made?
I shall wait!
Oh patience, a virtue,
Elude me not
Even now!
For we're a pair of binoculas
for the journey ahead
See the vase,
Heaped with rose,
All mornings i lay it-
For my beloved,
An oversea traveller.
While this long night of lonely wait tarry,
Break through and return
For you're a revered heart to me!
O' shall i be charioted on cupid's Wings to you?
Oh dearest Cherie,
I pray:
Remain faithful
And as green as ever white
For my white robe's white.
So long now,
Your shadows fading
And your face upon the mirror appear broken
But my heart never grow weary!
When you return
Upon the white horse we shall saddle
To the isle world
Where the nightingale shall sing us all melody
But upon my long wait,
The castle crumble into ruins:
My heart shattered into thousands of irreplacable pieces,
When the aweful message
The bird bore-
That my beloved lay in the bosom of another man
