So Lucky Are Those Poem by Francis Duggan

So Lucky Are Those

Rating: 5.0

Lucky are those who with their lot are satisfied
Who in their small successes take a humble pride
Not greedy or selfish in any sort of a way
We need more of their sort in the Human World of today,
You never hear them say that they do not have enough
They will tell you that others are doing it more tough
With a home for to live in and enough for to eat
They are happy not to be Homeless on Poverty Street,
With the greedy it is always much does want more
They want to be wealthier than the Joneses next door
They do become possessed by the demon greed
And more people like them the World does not need
So lucky are those who are easily appeased
With their lot in life they feel happy and pleased.
