So We Die And Live Poem by Naveed Akram

So We Die And Live

So we die and live, die and live, for the birth,
So our death comes some day, so we care for ours.

Strive then to comprehend the straight path,
The one and only absolute route to all eternal regions.

My men who understand fight with words of unity,
To discover the scrolls of our times and rhymes.

In lovely weather, the rains pour forth like a waterfall,
Poems are these droplets that cascade from the poets.

They are the clouds of mighty wool, the endeavours of youth,
So we died and were resurrected by the Almighty.

That is the happiness of an age of scribes and behaviour,
Intoxicated and scared, blind and carnivorous on flesh of the word.

In this hurricane is another typhoon, another war of winds,
Opening the doors to the stormy seasons and righteous days.

My poems come complete when discoveries are anew,
Those with words ally with my soul and those who submit to meanings.

I am a poet of holiness, yet your clemency is sacred,
The justice concerns itself when attracted to mystery.

This is another time, this is a blind alleyway,
Where adventure lurks for the blind lepers and woeful sons.
