Sogen Poem by Vivienne Chen

Sogen

We played in you as children
But now your path is dust
The horses that once rocked so lively
Now peel their plastic shells
The tanbark runs low
As the weeds run high
The sycamores bend and break
Over the broken gate
We had put you to good use
But time took us away.
