Solace Poem by Diomar Guzman

Solace

What of me?
A wanderer
who lost his track.
Sometimes strange
but not afraid.
But...
when I've no fear
there where I lost
then begets mistakes.
To south my sun rises,
my hand shivers.
And sorrows of past
drown in.
Breaking my bones;
tearing my heart.
I...
search for place,
finding solace.
And as I was lost,
there came you.
You said,
the beauty of the moon
lights the darkest skies.
And hope was born
in my heart it grew.
But as...
the moon and the sun
they rarely meet,
so do we.
If time again bring me
to you...I'd stay.
Hold the time
from revolving.
And stay...
even just a minute longer
and let everything fade
in the memory of time.
My solace...
