SOLD

I am sold on that very fact
That Jesus Christ is Lord
I believe each account of Him
That is written in God's Word
First there came a touch of faith
Then it was full-blown
That He was God come in the flesh
I owned Him as my own

And Christ became my hallelujah
The Lamb for sinner's slain
The glory of God revealed in Him
All praise be to His name
Sin's forgiveness found a home
His Spirit lived within
My life now pointed in a new direction
I now lived for Him

And my Redemption fully secured
I knew now where I stood
What cleansing work of Jesus Christ
There's power in that blood
And the righteousness of God Himself
Became my righteousness too
And God was pleased when I believed
The angels I know were too

Praise God He gives us faith to believe
When we repent of our sin
A desire to turn from our wicked ways
Rates a ten from Him
So turn your eyes upon Jesus
Look, look and you will really see
Whereas old sin will keep you down
Faith gives the victory!
