Some Can See

Some still deny The Virgin Birth
Deny The Living Christ
They say he never walked on earth
Nor was He sacrificed

God lives in Heaven all alone
He has no son and heir
Nor is He made of flesh and bone
With wife a child to bear

Such thoughts conceive a feeble mind
Fathered by Satan’s lies
Through whom their offspring’s eyes are blind
Foolishness multiplies

But yet God’s truth is plain to see
By those who’ve sought His Light
Whom Jesus Christ His Son set free
Who’ve found The Way to fight

That Way is Christ, God’s Lamb on high
The Lord whom few believed
Who came to earth for man to die
That they be not deceived

Five hundred came from far and wide
They saw with their own eyes
They saw The Lamb of God who died
They saw God’s Son arise?

The same who wrote of Jesus’ birth
Who heard their Master’s voice
Who walked with Christ three years on earth
Who made His way, their choice

They suffered much and died in pain
Along their chosen way
They knew their deaths were not in vain
As some can see today
