Some Kill Poem by Francis Duggan

Some Kill

Some kill for greed and some kill for love
And some for a laugh people off of a cliff shove
And laugh as they watch them die on the rocks down below
If mercy is not in you mercy you cannot show.

Some kill when their anger is out of control
Light cannot shine through the darkness of their soul
And some take their own life with life they become bored
Life can be easily taken but it cannot be restored.

Some kill without reason and over it don't lose sleep
Their souls badly tainted they see human life as cheap
And serious crimes committed against children and women and men
Though the perpetrators don't see their crimes as a sin.

The greatest killers of human beings are human kind
And some killers the law never manage to find
Some kill out of passion and some kill for fun
And the weapons most used for such crimes are the knife or the gun.
