Someday I'll Hear Poem by Gary James Smith

Someday I'll Hear

Rating: 5.0

Someday I'll Hear

Someday I'll hear that song again
The lowly shepherds heard
When I'm in the presence of God Himself
The God Who was the Word
Yes the Word Who became flesh
And died for me one day
We'll rehearse old history then
From the beginning of time called day

Can there be more excitement then
When that glorious day transpires
When we all join together singing
With that heavenly angelic choir
And not one voice be out of tune
For the Master will see to that
And praises emit from ransomed souls
Amen that'll be where it's at!

Thank You Lord for so great Salvation
God with us Immanuel
Delivering us to our eternal Home
And saving us from Hell
Looking am I so forward too
And the time is drawing near
Praise God my heart is awaiting Thy coming
And someday I'll hear!
