Does life seem oh so troubled and undone?
Does the world seem broken, in disarray?
Does hope seem distant like darkness has won?
Have you given them to God when you pray?

Someday the world will revolve, take courage;
Light will come bursting through, be encouraged

Does you past seem checkered and lost to time?
And you've never seen life outside the fray?
Does everyone else's life seem sublime?
Have you given it to God when you pray?

Someday the world will revolve, take courage;
Light will come bursting through, be encouraged

Does the future seem dark, lost in the night?
Does the path, through the forest, lose it's way?
Does your body seem weary; lost it's fight?
Have you given these to God when you pray?
