You steal my soul,
yet i am whole
I feel my pulse flowing fast,
it seems that time can no longer pass.
I catch my breath
and hold my chest.
I thought you were different
from all the rest.
The shock remains
though you do not.
Im so sorry
that we fought.
I turn to leave,
my arm is caught.
My stomache twists
into a knot.
As i reel back around
a smile slowly replaces my frown,
as someone new replaces you.
