Someone said:
'Love was never a word.
Only a shadow
That hides by the hinds of daylight.'
It is true then,
You are not mine.

Someone said:
'Love was ne'er a feeling
To care nor cherish,
But only to fulfill its whims.'
It is true then,
You are not mine.

Someone said:
'Love devours completely
To satisfy groans
Etched by lust and its fingerprints.'
It is true then,
You are not mine.

Time denies its faults,
Truth adores the lies.
How false is love!
It is true then,
You are never mine.
