get off on everyone else's pain
that's why when you ask,
'how you doing'
I just smile and say,
I've never seen better days.
So what's it to you
Turn on the news it's made
for people like you
Look around town
everybody seems to be down
what's worth saving when your
already so far swallowed
All my life
i reach for you

the crescendos of emotions
have drowned out
the flat land
leaving me like a vagabond
and i have vastly
traveled all landscapes
of thought and feeling
I know the way to your capitol
where no body ever has to
reserve a seat.
when you going to just get
up and leave?
