Song I Wrote Poem by jasper jcs

Song I Wrote

Your head unwinds
into scattered lines.
Did you realize the way I spent my time?
Sleep you dreamer, you could never care.

Wake up, the sun is new.
well hey, I can think of you.
Your eyes, I wish I could dive.
Ocean iris, how do i contrive?
Tear them apart, I don't mind.
Sometimes i wish love was confined.
I would dare too hold your smile.
Could you come round once in awhile?

Your head unwinds
into scattered lines.
Did you realize the way i spent my time?
Sleep you dreamer, you could never care.

Look up it's all a game,
we can pretend to be the same.
stranded hair, we're stranded here.
here my voice, is it clear?
Chemicals, it's all we are,
together on this tiny star.
Funny, we could be so aware.
Funny just how much i could care.

I forgot what makes sense,
three words built on pretense.
I search above the clouds
and beneath sedated crowds.
I float along in beauty's drag,
my worth lies in a body bag.
But I cannot stray too far from you,
your silly games were all i knew.
