Song Writing Poem by Jamie Crossley

Song Writing

If I knew how to write a song,
I'd write one everyday,
It would say that I'm in love with you,
And why I feel this way.

It would have to say your pretty,
And as rare as a desert rose,
It would say your a looker,
From your head down to your toes.

You are funny, dainty and fragile,
And as feminime as can be,
Your smart, kind and lovely,
And everything to me.

Your my comfort when I'm lonly,
Your my peace when I need rest,
All the girls I've ever known,
I would say that your the best.

Your the orchard in my jungle,
Your the better half of me,
Your all of this and much more,
You mean the world to me.

Still so much left unsaid,
It would take far too long,
I know how much I love you,
If only I could write a song.
