Unto this day I do fully admit
That I feel unsafe in the safest place,
My emotions take a certain limit
Until I just want to hide my red face.
Sometimes I wish I had never been born
Into such a world that I did emerge,
To a place so full of upsetting scorn
Where I be crushed under every bad word.
Tomorrow’s light may free my tortured mind
To return to the state of love and care,
But for now I declare that I do find
That I am out of love and in despair.
O, but if love was meant to save us all,
Then it better save me before I fall.

I remember when we had to write sonnets in school, mine were always rubbish! This however, is awesome :)
