Sonnet: A Family In Doldrums? Poem by Dr John Celes

Sonnet: A Family In Doldrums?

Once happy family lies in chaos now;
Its harmony and love are under test;
Perhaps some devils gained in-roads somehow;
Why things are happening thus? God knows the best.

Each sibling has problems of unique types;
God-given spouses aren’t with them to aid;
Just miracles must occur ‘By His Stripes’!
When despair mounts, beliefs appear to fade.

But God will usher in an order soon;
The Holy Spirit reigns supreme in all;
Their Catechism will act to be a boon;
God will sweeten the draught in life though gall!

The Maker keenly watches everything;
A peace profound will blossom forth like spring!
