Sonnet: God’s Wrath Poem by Dr John Celes

Sonnet: God’s Wrath

Rating: 5.0

Without a doubt, God is a kind Being;
Supreme and Omnipotent, quite unknown;
Don’t take great advantage of Him, earthling;
God’s wrath on evil-doers is well known.

Embodiment of love is what God is,
Who made all creatures, earth and sky, Heaven,
Who wishes every man come share His bliss;
Avoiding sins, you can all do this, men.

But who has seen the face of God so far?
His anger burn the forests to cinders;
All great and small pay homage- sun, moon, star;
Commune with God, only big sin hinders.

God is as kind as he is too dreadful;
He is all love and goodness; be careful.
