Sonnet: (In Hexameter) God's Glorious Creation - The Earth Poem by Dr John Celes

Sonnet: (In Hexameter) God's Glorious Creation - The Earth

Rating: 5.0

The globe is home for every creature that God made;
The only habitat for man God made is Earth;
The glory of the earth in universe can't fade.
Upon this very earth, the Son of God had birth.

The earth is beautiful beyond comparison;
It has both flora, fauna that you cannot count;
Where sky appears to meet the land is horizon;
The land is upward thrown as folds called mountain/mount.

The earth has place to live for all beings for long;
Yet, men are refugees without a place to dwell;
Our stupid actions have turned Nature, sad a song;
The ills of human race must sooner be made well.

No nation can be safe destroying neighbor's land;
If intents evil be, God crushes with own Hand.
