Sonnet: In The Days ’fore Your Marriage Poem by Dr John Celes

Sonnet: In The Days ’fore Your Marriage

Rating: 4.5

Eat freely; Do whatever things you like;
’Tis dazzling bright in life, your noon-time sun!
Sing loudly; speak out boldly with a mike;
The count-down to your marriage has begun!

Read freely; think of things happy in life;
Sleep snugly; your sleepless nights will be there!
Dress neatly; God plans to reduce your strife;
Don’t worry; of things God surely takes care!

Dream sweetly; Think about God’s mercy much;
Rest peacefully; the midnight-oil, don’t burn!
Cry mildly; Sob for His miraculous touch;
Pray fervently; Thank God for this new turn.

Think wisely; Think of things you must now do;
But hurry up; These days Don’t wait for you!
