When pride engulfs a human mind and heart,
And selfishness is prime motive that goads,
And telling lies becomes life’s innate part,
A man is already on marshy roads!
When ambition in life surpasses well
All duties and responsibilities,
His dignity, a man begins to sell
And multiplies his life’s iniquities!
When man begins to feel that he is great,
And cannot recognize his brethren’s call,
His glory has begun to attenuate:
His graph of fame plummets before downfall!
No longer can one call that man a man;
Awaste has gone his entire life’s span!
