I’ve struggled hard in life untiringly;
I fought much battle bravely but in vain;
Life’s skirmishes have chosen me singly;
I’ve suffered ignominy and heart-pain.
Yet, I will not give up so easily;
My cruel journey is almost half-done;
The slowing force has been my family!
My walk is turning to become a run.
Surely, I’ll cruise my way to success fast;
Nothing can hinder my ‘dare-devil’ spree!
My worries will be soon things of my past;
I’ll breathe with joy and contentment afree.
My achievements will match the labor laid;
My poesy will stay and never fade.
