Sonnet- Poetry's My Unique Defence Poem by Dr John Celes

Sonnet- Poetry's My Unique Defence

Rating: 4.5

My closest ‘friend’ had 'stabbed' me in my back!
Not once or twice or thrice but many times;
What sufferings, he caused by his attack!
The bell of God's punishment for him chimes!

Another senior faculty too had,
Me stabbed, several times yet from in the front;
A selfish-man, smooth-tongued and money-mad,
A nickel of his own to spend, he won't.

And many stab me in the sides so oft;
My honesty unites them all as one;
The wounds they deliver appear quite soft;
The things they did against me was for 'fun'!
But then, I used my 'Poetry-missile'!
Their minds got boggled, unmatched for my style.
