The day I saw you, you seemed different!
-A monument of patience, you stood great;
-A man of wisdom who looked refulgent,
Of stature, I had never seen till date.

Your honest ways did touch my mind and heart;
I saw in you invaluable a gem;
Your managerial skills were like an art;
You're fit to get the Maker's diadem!

How did you keep so sane in mad a world?
Another man so good to meet, I'm glad;
You broke the arrows of abuses hurled!
That you must retire so soon is sad.

I loved the way you played a Robin-hood!
Because of men like you, the earth stays good.
